WHAT IS A CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture is a way for you to build a strong relationship with your farmer and get fresh produce all season long. By becoming a CSA member with Cosmic Gardens, you will receive a weekly basket full of colorful, nutrient-dense, heirloom goods grown free of chemicals or pesticides. At Cosmic Gardens we focus on biodynamic practices to ensure healthy soil, maximum flavor and diverse nutrients. A weekly CSA share includes 5-10 items including: salad mixes, bundles of root vegetables, fruiting vegetables, cut flowers, edible flowers, onion type vegetables, herb bundles, heads of lettuce and bundles of leafy cooking greens.
Each CSA season (Spring, Summer & Fall) is 7 weeks long or you can get a full 21 week membership. We take a week off in between each season (July 4th & August 29th). We offer both delivery and pickup every Tuesday at Pogue's Run Grocer, Natural Born Juicers & Wildwood Market.
2018 CSA DATES
We will not be offering CSA memberships for the 2018 season. Co-founder and queen green thumb, Abby, will be welcoming her first child into the world this January. We will be breaking from CSAs for the season to focus on soil nutrition and building our tribe. Mad love!
WORK SHARE PROGRAM: We also offer a work share program where you can work a weekly shift in exchange for your CSA basket. Apply for our work share program here.
Heirloom Garden Starts
Each season we start hand selected heirlooms indoors for Indianapolis gardens. Starts can be purchased during the Spring and Summer at Wildwood Market and Pogues Run Grocer. Have a special request? Send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
